Mediapro chooses AXIS solution for its audiovisual production centers
Parkmedia Audiovisual, part of the MediaPro group, replaces its legacy analog CCTV system with an IP video system based on Axis products.

Project context for MediaPro
In 2005, the company acquired the Media Park facilities in Sant Just Desvern, one of the most important audiovisual parks in southern Europe. This center had an analog CCTV system that, in a very basic way, helped security guards to control the perimeter of the facilities.
Media Park's premises are accessed by a large number of people. In addition to the company's personnel there are external workers for the assembly and disassembly of the sets, sometimes there is public for the recording of programs, etc. and the need to have control of the facilities is fundamental for the Security Department, since the possible risks are greater when many people have temporary access to the facilities.
Implementation of IP Video system
The company ElectroTel, which acted as the solution integrator, was contacted and, given that Media Park's facilities have a Local Area Network infrastructure, they considered that the use of IP video cameras would be ideal. Media Pro's Security Director and the integrator defined the different sites and the appropriate camera models for each of them. The installation has a total of 18 Axis cameras providing maximum security.
Since its installation, there have been no significant incidents and the level of satisfaction with the installed system is high.
